CakapCakap – Cakap People! Acara Golden Globe Awards 2022 baru saja diselenggarakan pada Minggu, 9 Januari 2022 (waktu AS) atau Senin, 10 Januari, pagi, waktu Indonesia. Namun, ajang pembuka musim penghargaan ini digelar tanpa siaran langsung seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
Dilaporkan bahwa NBC membatalkan siaran langsung lantaran sejumlah skandal — mulai dari korupsi hingga masalah rasial dari komposisi anggota lembaga — yang mendera penyelenggara Golden Globe Awards 2022, Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
HFPA pada Jumat, 7 Januari 2022, mengumumkan bahwa media tidak akan diundang untuk menghadiri ataupun meliput acara tersebut. Sementara itu, para pemenang akan diumumkan melalui media sosial dan situs Golden Globe.
Dalam penghargaan ini, Encanto meraih film animasi terbaik, Drive My Car meraih film berbahasa non-Inggris terbaik, dan Andrew Garfield dinobatkan sebagai Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
