CakapCakap – Cakap People! Pihak Recording Academy sudah selesai mengumumkan daftar lengkap pemenang Grammy Awards 2024 yang digelar di Los Angeles, Minggu 4 Februari 2024 malam waktu setempat.
Dalam Grammy Awards 2024, Miley Cyrus memenangkan piala pertamanya setelah berkarier sebagai musisi sekitar dua dekade. Piala Grammy pertama Miley didapat berkat lagu Flowers yang memenangkan Best Pop Solo Performance.
Tak hanya itu, pada malam yang sama, Miley Cyrus juga memenangkan piala kedua Grammy. Berkat lagu Flowers, dia memenangkan Record of the Year.
Sementara itu, Taylor Swift juga memenangkan piala Grammy ke-13 dalam ajang tersebut. Album Midnights membuatnya mendapatkan trofi ke-13, angka favoritnya, dalam ajang penghargaan musik paling bergengsi itu.
Dalam kesempatan itu, ia turut mengumumkan rencana perilisan album baru, “Saya ingin berterima kasih kepada fan dengan membocorkan rahasia yang saya simpan dua tahun ini, yakni album baru rilis 19 April dan judulnya The Tortured Poets Department.”
Taylor Swift juga memenangkan Album of the Year berkat Midnights. Sejauh ini, Taylor Swift adalah musisi perempuan satu-satunya yang memenangkan Album of the Year untuk ketiga kalinya, dan bersaing dengan Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, dan Paul Simon dengan tiga kemenangan.
What Was I Made For yang ditulis Billie Eilish O’Connell dan Finneas O’Connell untuk soundtrack film Barbie memenangkan Song of the Year setelah membawa pulang Grammy untuk Best Song Written for Visual Media.
